Q: How many ropes do I need?

A: You only need one.  All of the ropes that we sell are meant to be wrapped around a fixed point and held by the ends.

Q: How long should my rope be?

A: The longer the better! If you have the space, the longer ropes will give you a more fluid and challenging workout. If you don't think you're strong enough for a 40 or 50 foot Cyclone or Aftershock rope, consider using our Lightning Ropes which are lighter per foot yet have the same length and diameter of our other ropes.

Q: Which diameter? 1.5" or 2.0"

A: 75-80% of all the ropes we sell are of the 1.5" variety.  Don't think of this as small and large, but rather big and enormous. The right size rope will ultimately depend on your physical ability, but generally the 1.5" will give you a faster/high intensity workout while the 2.0" will provide a more grueling strength workout.

Q: How much room do I need?

A: You need a straight line that is half the length of your rope. For a 50' rope you'll need 25 feet of clear space.

Q: Will a thicker rope make up for a shorter distance?

A: Yes. The workout won't feel quite as fluid, but it will still whip you into shape.

Q: How to I attach the rope?

A: Almost any fixed point will do.  Weight bench, kettlebell (75 lbs+) fence post, trailer hitch, light post, tree.

Q: Anything I shouldn't attach the rope to?

A: Nothing too sharp. Sometimes weight benches can have a sharp welded edge that will cut through the rope like a knife. Avoid those. Also some trees have very rough bark that will break down the rope.

Q: Can my rope get wet?

A: Yes, but it will make it VERY heavy! Water won't hurt your rope, but don't store it wet in the garage all winter.  Mildew isn't a fun workout partner.

Q: How long will it take to get my rope?

A: Almost everything leaves our warehouse within 24 hours. Delivery times vary from 1-5 days.

Q: Who do you use to ship?

A: FedEx Ground and Express

Q: Can you ship to a PO Box?

A: FedEx doesn't ship to PO Boxes. If you check out using a PO box we'll have to contact you for an alternate address.  If it's all you've got, use the address that the PO box is located at.

Q: Do you ship to Canada?

A: We have been working hard to find a good shipping option for our friends in the North.  Unfortunately the perfect solution hasn't turned up yet.  Typically the shipping costs more than the rope itself but if you're happy to pay, we're happy to ship.  Email to place your order.

Q: Do you ship internationally?

A: See shipping to Canada above. Terribly expensive, but email us and we'll see what we can do to help you out.

Q: How do I set up a climbing rope?

A: If you are using a bar or a branch, simply put the end through the loop and pull down. If you are going into a beam in the ceiling, you'll need to purchase an eye and shackle from a hardware store.

Q: How long are your giant jump ropes?

A: They're all 9' in length.  Shorter users can choke up on the handle and restrict arm movement, taller users will swing their arms a bit more.
